This is a unique camera, originally made by Polaroid in the 50′s as an instant roll film camera, the original kind of instant film, it has since been converted and recovered to take on a new extended life past that of the film it was made for.  Since acquiring I have given it the nickname of ‘Big Red’ as it has been recovered in red leather and is accented with gold paint.  It has been converted to a 4×5″ spring back so it is my workhorse camera in the 4×5 sheet, 4×5 instant sheet, 4×5 instant pack, and type 100 peel apart as well, which is what I shoot in it most.  -f
